Why Can’t You Look Under the Hood of Your Organic Mattress?

Under The Hood Organic Mattress

Would you purchase a car without looking under the hood and making sure that everything was in working order? While many mattress companies offer a trial period when you can return your bed, there’s no mattress lemon law to protect you from buying a mattress with components you don’t like. Since you’d never buy a car without looking under the hood, why not do the same with your organic mattress?

Naturepedic lets you look under the hood in more ways than one. Our certified GOTS mattresses ensure a pure and organic mattress, while Bedfax labels fully disclose our materials. In addition, we stand by a list of materials that you will never find in our mattresses, so you can rest assured that you’re not sleeping on a lemon. For a literal look under the hood, the EOS® Organic Sleep System mattresses let you see the inside components of your mattress and allow you to choose exactly what goes into your bed.

GOTS Certified Organic

Global Organic Textile Standard LogoGlobal Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the leading organic standard for textiles, including our mattresses. GOTS standardizes globally recognized requirements throughout the textile supply chain from the harvest of raw materials through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing. Naturepedic’s factory is GOTS certified and all of our mattresses are GOTS organic as well, meaning that we meet or exceed all of the standard’s criteria to be certified organic. Learn more about what it means to be GOTS organic.

Bedfax

BedfaxBedfax provides transparency to consumers about mattress contents. The Specialty Sleep Association recognized that consumers want to know more about the materials used in their mattresses. Naturepedic is registered with Bedfax and we share the full breakdown of our materials on the Bedfax disclosure label.

Get Out Of My Bed™

Naturepedic get Out Of My Bed Mattress IngredientsThe Get Out Of My Bed List includes ingredients and materials that we do not use and that we believe should not be in any mattress. Materials on the list include: polyurethane foam, flame retardants, antibacterial treatments, perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), vinyl/PVC, pesticides, formaldehyde, glues/adhesives, GMOs, and more.

Knowing what we avoid in mattresses is just as important as knowing what we put into them. The Get Out Of My Bed List lets you know that we don’t cut corners by adding questionable materials. We want you to know you’re getting a quality certified organic mattress made with pure materials.

The EOS Organic Sleep System

Under The Hood Organic MattressOur EOS system is named for the goddess of the dawn, Eos. The EOS is unique because you can customize the comfort layers on each side to meet your needs, making each sleeper’s experience unique. The EOS arrives compressed, rolled, and enclosed in multiple boxes for easy delivery and setup. Carry the boxes to your bedroom and start assembly, which is quick and simple when you follow the enclosed instructions or watch this assembly video.

With the EOS, you will see each layer of your mattress come together, whether you choose an all organic latex construction in the EOS Trilux or a combination of encased coils and latex in the EOS or EOS Pillowtop models. You can see and feel each layer of your mattress as you build it, for a real look under the hood!
