The Concerto’s three-layer hybrid construction starts with a base layer of glueless encased coils that we manufacture in-house for both quality and sustainability. The mattress also features an exclusive layer of high-density microcoils plus an organic latex layer made from the sap of rubber trees and organic wool batting for moisture wicking. We then encase your luxurious Euro top mattress in our signature organic cotton ticking fabric and meticulously tuft it by hand. At Naturepedic, we only use U.S. grown and certified organic cotton as filling for our mattresses and we buy directly from USDA certified sources. You'll also love our luxurious stretch knit fabrics. They're soft to the touch and easily stretch to conform to your body.
Organic Wool Batting
Wool wicks away moisture, provides natural fire protection, and offers temperature regulation, keeping you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It has a natural crimp that gives it bounce, body, and soft support characteristics. Plus, Naturepedic's organic certifications help ensure healthy, well-treated sheep and the elimination of harmful chemicals during processing.

PLA is a high-performance synthetic fiber made from non-GMO sugarcane that adds resiliency and improves moisture wicking. A non-toxic plant-based material, PLA is used in a variety of industries, including food packaging and medical supplies and is well-known for its sustainability and non-toxic properties.

Every Naturepedic mattress passes all government flammability requirements without ANY flame retardant chemicals or barriers. That's right – none at all! This is due to our smart organic mattress design and the elimination of highly flammable synthetics such as polyurethane foam.
NO GLUES OR ADHESIVES
It's really hard to find a mattress without glue. Even "organic mattresses" often contain several pounds of industrial adhesives, especially in their coil systems. At Naturepedic, we've engineered custom processes that do not use glue or adhesives. We're 100% committed to chemical safety – and honesty!
NO POLYURETHANE FOAM
Polyurethane foam, including memory foam and all its variants, can be found in nearly all conventional mattresses. It's made primarily from petroleum and other chemicals and is highly flammable. At Naturepedic, we do not use polyurethane foam in any of our products.

What does Pillow Top Plush mean?
The Concerto Organic Pillow Top Mattress provides a plusher feel due to its
finely tuned extra layers and thicker construction. This design provides more depth to the
mattress and a feeling of gentle floating. Not recommended for heavier sleepers who may need
more support.
Does the Concerto Organic Pillow Top Mattress work with an adjustable base?
Yes.
Does the Concerto Organic Pillow Top Mattress require assembly?
No. The Concerto Organic Pillow Top Mattress comes roll-packed, which means
it just needs a few minutes to expand and it is ready to go!
What is the difference between the Serenade Organic Mattress and the Concerto Organic Pillow Top Mattress?
The main difference is that the Concerto features a taller support coil, a
layer of high-density microcoils and a pillow top construction. The Concerto also features a
tufted design which secures the thicker layers together.
Do the coils contain glue/adhesives?
No. Naturepedic utilizes a proprietary method of heat-sealing coils,
removing the need for glues/adhesives.
Do other "organic" mattress manufacturers use glues/adhesives in their coils?
Yes. To our knowledge, Naturepedic is the only organic mattress manufacturer to offer adhesive-free coils across our entire line of mattresses. We know this because we had to invent a new technology and build our own equipment in order to do it! Adhesives are known to contain toxic ingredients like formaldehyde. A typical mattress can contain up to 10 lbs. of adhesives. Beware of claims from other manufacturers stating that they don't use adhesives to "bind layers" together. This is a dubious claim as they are referring to the layers above the coils. It is deceptively intended to make you believe that there are no adhesives in the mattress. However, there are probably several pounds of adhesives in the coil system, which isn't considered part of the "layers." If it does not specifically state there are no adhesives in the coils, then there probably are!

How does the Concerto Organic Pillow Top Mattress ship?
The Concerto Organic Pillow Top Mattress ships via UPS or FedEx Ground. It
is roll-packed, which means it is compressed before shipping. This makes it easier to get into
your house and to its final destination.
Does compressing and roll/packing a mattress ruin it?
Actually, it is the opposite. The compression process "breaks in" the
mattress at every point on the bed evenly, which makes it less likely that the materials will
compress only in the places where a person lays. Also, roll-packed mattresses are usually more
robust because they are built to handle the roll-packing process.
Do I need a foundation/box spring with the Concerto Organic Pillow Top Mattress?
No. The purpose of a foundation is to support the mattress above it and to
bring the surface of the mattress to a height that is comfortable for getting in and out of bed.
If you have a bed that comes with a supportive platform at the correct height, there is no need
for a foundation. If your platform is made of slats, please ensure that the spacing between
slats is no more than 3" apart. Slats that are spaced too far apart can create grooves in the
bottom of the mattress over time.
