DrySleep™ technology, including careful design of fabric, pore size, waterproofing thickness, and other characteristics, effectively blocks liquids from passing through the fabric and contaminating the mattress below. Some water vapor (similar to humidity naturally found in the air) is allowed to escape, which can help with a more comfortable sleep.
Our innovative DrySleep technology does not use common waterproofing materials like vinyl/PVC, phthalates, perfluorinated compounds (PFCs), or rubber (which can be comparatively “sweaty”). It also does not use any flame retardants, pesticide treatments/sprays, or formaldehyde.
The polyurethane waterproof barrier used in DrySleep easily meets the GREENGUARD Gold chemical emissions standard. Polyurethane, within quality limits, is also permitted as an additional material/accessory per the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) for organic products.
