WE TOOK THE MOST TEMPERATURE REGULATING FIBER ON EARTH – AND FILLED A PILLOW WITH IT

Refresh your sleep with Naturepedic’s Organic Wool Pillow – a breathable, medium-firm option designed for sleepers who want gentle cushioning with dependable structure. Wool is one of nature’s finest temperature-regulating and moisture-wicking materials, helping to maintain a comfortable microclimate throughout the night. Instead of traditional wool batting, we fill this pillow with small woolen balls that enhance wool’s natural resiliency. The crimped, spring-like structures act like tiny coils, offering subtle pushback to keep your head and neck supported. This design also resists clumping and flattening, maintaining its shape far better than most natural-fiber pillows. It’s an excellent match for side and back sleepers who want organic comfort with a touch of lift.

COMPARE LOW-PROFILE PILLOWS

What Makes Our Wool Pillow So Cool?

WHATEVER THE WEATHER

Wool fibers are naturally crimped, which creates small air pockets that act as insulators. In cold weather, they retain body heat to keep you warm – and in warm weather, the trapped air insulates against external heat, keeping you cool. Add in wool’s superior absorbency and moisture-wicking ability (plus added breathability that comes from its low-density structure), and you’ve got one of the most temperature-regulating natural fibers on Earth.

RESILIENCY REINFORCED

The natural crimp of wool fibers imparts a springy quality, which helps the pillow maintain its shape and bounce back after being compressed for long-lasting support that resists flattening or dipping. We take resiliency a step further by mechanically transforming traditional wool into fluffy woolen balls that prevent clumping and increase airflow for consistent support night after night. Now that's comfort you can count on.

Organic Cotton
Certified organic cotton stands out as a safer choice for the environment, farmers and consumers alike because it’s cultivated without synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, as prohibited by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Organic certification ensures adherence to strict environmental and ethical standards, promoting biodiversity, soil health and fair labor practices. This results in a healthier, more sustainable fabric that minimizes exposure to toxic chemicals.

GOTS Certified Organic Factory
We don’t just get our products certified – we get our entire factory certified, too! The Global Organic Textile Standard requires annual audits of certified factories. This means that our facility, located in Chagrin, Falls, Ohio, is inspected once a year to ensure it continues to meet the stringent standards for organic production, environmental management and social responsibility.

Law Label
A law label is a legally required tag attached to products like mattresses, mattress toppers and pillows. It helps ensure that what you see is what you get – no hidden fillers or misleading claims. At Naturepedic, we believe in transparency and our aim is to help you make informed, confident choices for your home and family. View our Organic Wool Pillow law labels: LQ63, LK63.

FAQs

Do wool pillows go flat?

Wool pillows are naturally resilient, especially when the fill is made from woolen balls rather than loose batting. The crimped fibers act like tiny springs, helping the pillow bounce back after use. While all pillows will compress slightly over time, wool tends to resist flattening and clumping far better than many other natural fills.

Are wool pillows good for hot sleepers?

Yes. Wool is one of the most breathable, temperature-regulating materials available. It helps wick away moisture and allows air to circulate, creating a more comfortable sleep environment that stays cooler in warm conditions and balanced year-round.

Are wool pillows good for neck pain?

It depends on your sleep position. Wool pillows can be a great option for sleepers who need gentle support without excessive sink, especially side and back sleepers. A medium-firm wool pillow offers a balance of cushioning and structure, helping keep the head and neck aligned. Proper alignment is key for reducing strain and minimizing discomfort.

How do I clean a wool pillow?

Most wool pillows are not machine washable. That’s why Naturepedic’s Wool Pillow comes with a removable cover that you can machine wash and dry. The inner encasement should be spot cleaned as needed using a mild detergent and completely air dried before a pillowcase is put back on it. Using a waterproof pillow protector can help keep your pillow fresh and extend its lifespan.

Are wool pillows good for side sleepers?

Yes. Side sleepers typically need a bit more loft and support to keep the spine aligned. A wool pillow with a structured, springy fill can provide the lift and stability needed to comfortably support the head and neck in this position.

How long do wool pillows last?

With proper care, a high-quality wool pillow can last several years. Its natural durability and resistance to clumping help it maintain its shape and performance longer than many conventional pillow fills.
