Built from solid, FSC®-certified white oak and finished with a water-based coating that meets food-grade standards, the Savona Kids Bed is engineered to last through every stage of childhood — and rigorously tested to be safer at every step.

Materials: Durable solid white oak frame and pine slats (no MDF).
Functionality: Available in twin or full platform configurations, or as a convertible bunk (twin/twin or twin/full) that separates into two standalone beds. Supportive pine slats — no box spring required.
Finish: Water-based, low-VOC (Natural or Washed White); meets FDA food-contact standards.
Safer Materials: Tested for lead, phthalates, formaldehyde, and heavy metals; meets U.S. safety standards for children’s products, including Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act and California Prop 65.

Yes. The Savona Kids Bed is made from solid white oak hardwood — not medium-density fiberboard or oriented strand board. Real-wood construction means genuine durability that holds up through every stage of childhood.

The Savona is available in two finishes: Natural and Washed White. Both are coated with a water-based, low-VOC finish that meets food-grade standards.

The Savona Kids Bed is recommended for children ages 3 and up. It's a great first "big kid" bed, though it's not designed for toddlers transitioning directly from a crib. For bunk configurations, the top bunk is recommended for ages 6 and up, per safety guidelines.

Yes. The Savona Bunk Bed can be separated into two standalone beds — no additional hardware needed. Note: in a Twin/Full configuration, the top and lower bunks will look different from each other when separated, as they have different headboard sizes.

No. The Savona is designed as a fixed two-bed configuration and cannot be converted to a loft.

Yes — the ladder can be installed on either side of the bunk bed, giving you flexibility to work with your room layout.

The trundle is sold separately and can be added for extra sleeping space or storage.

Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth. Do not use chemical cleansers, abrasives, furniture polish, or wax. Periodically check and tighten all hardware connections to keep the frame sturdy over time.

The maximum recommended weight is 400 lbs per sleeping surface — including the child and the mattress.

To keep your Savona Kids Bed looking beautiful for years to come, dust it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid placing the bed in direct sunlight or exposing it to extreme temperatures, as this can affect the wood's finish over time. In case of spills, blot immediately with a clean, damp cloth to prevent moisture damage. We do not recommend using chemical cleansers, abrasives, furniture polish or wax, as these may compromise the water-based finish. Additionally, hardware may loosen with regular use, so periodically check and tighten all connections to maintain the bed's stability and durability.
